The feature selected for the event was our RGB Tunnel Lights, a vibrant installation designed to create movement, atmosphere and a memorable photo opportunity for guests.
The University of Newcastle x UNSA End of Year Student Gala was promoted as a major student celebration, bringing together the end of exams, awards, dinner, entertainment and dancing into one formal evening. The university described the event as a night of connection, recognition and next-level style, hosted at The Great Hall on the Callaghan campus.
This type of event sits in an important space for student experience. It is not a formal corporate event, but it still requires professional presentation, reliable suppliers and smooth delivery. Students are coming together to celebrate the end of the year, recognise achievements and enjoy a shared milestone moment with friends, peers and the broader university community.

On the day, our team drove just over two hours to reach the venue and complete the installation. Regional event delivery always requires planning, particularly when transporting feature lighting that needs to arrive safely, be installed correctly and look polished once in place.
Adding to this, the installation took place on a scorching 40-degree day. Extreme heat can create practical challenges for both people and equipment, especially when working with lighting, setup access and physical installation requirements.
